Why are most wines made from grapes? I know the fermentation of many other fruits can make wine, so why aren't they as popular as wine made from grapes? Is it cheaper/easier to make wine from grapes? Or does it just taste better? Submitted February 19, 2017 at 03:26AM by honeyysuckle via reddit http://bit.ly/2kAwX9f
Can you recommend a Northern Rhône wine sub-$20? I live in NYC, so if you have a recommendation for something I can get locally, even better! One example that I love is J.L. Chave's Crozes-Hermitage, which I'm aware is over $20. Submitted February 19, 2017 at 12:20AM by apolloniandionysian via reddit http://bit.ly/2kKRtPQ
Drinking wine in London I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for where to drink wine in London. I'll be visiting next week from the U.S. for work and I'm looking for wine bars or bistros that have a nice by-the-glass selection.
