I feel like chenin blanc is horrifically underrated.
I'm enjoying a '15 Anjou from Richou right now and for the $18 shelf price I'm just in fucking awe at how delicious this stuff is. 13%, but feeling off-dry. Honeyed nose with apricots, bruised apples once you take a sip for that slightly oxidized but not really oxidized taste. Ugh. It's so good.
Please, can we all gush about this grape.
