A Question a Little Different from Anything Else

A Question a Little Different from Anything Else

Hey, I'm looking for suggestions on sampling some wine (or even just drinks with alcohol)… but maybe not in the traditional sense. For a chemistry lab project, we chose to analyse the ethanol content in these samples. Frankly, I don't know much about what sort of sampling to take that will give interesting results from this. I've been looking at vertical samplings and horizontal samplings but don't know how much variation we would get from this, would also be interesting to sample regionally but then again I don't have a clue on what sort of results I might get.
Would also be interested if it might give better results to analyse a completely different beverage, such as beer or whisky…

Thanks!
