Would storing wine at a lower than normal temperature slow down the ageing, hence prolonging the lifespan of the bottle?
I am wondering why don't people who have cases of the same stuff, let's say a great wine from great vintage. Set aside a number of bottles in let's say 4-8C cellar. The wine will age slower that means you can enjoy it later down the road while the ones in normal cellar would have fallen off peak already?
